Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical masterpiece, “THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” came to Guernsey in November 2019 as a spectacular theatrical concert performance.
Lord Lloyd Webber himself signed off on this entirely unique opportunity for Guernsey to experience “The World’s Greatest Love Story” live on stage at Beau Sejour’s, Sir John Loveridge Hall, for a limited 5 show run.
The production featured every note of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s spellbinding score, performed by an astounding cast of over 25 performers drawn from various world-wide productions of the hit musical. It also featured an incredible 40-piece live orchestra and some thrilling surprises along the way.
The Phantom of the Opera has wowed audiences for a record breaking 32 years on the West End. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and a book by Richard Stilgoe & Andrew Lloyd Webber, Phantom is the longest running show in Broadway history, by a wide margin, and the second longest-running West End musical, after Les Misérables.
