AGE OF MADNESS is the passion project of Broadway, television and film actor Jeremy Jordan. The band was co-founded by Jeremy and Mikael and includes Sarah Charness and Matt Graff. Born out of a love of music and a desire to collaborate with friends during the global pandemic, AGE OF MADNESS pride themselves on telling stories that are a testimony to where we came from and where we stand in today’s world.

JEREMY JORDAN: "I am incredibly excited to share what Age of Madness and I have been cooking up with my friends in the UK. The audiences here have been truly extraordinary as well as massively supportive of me throughout my solo shows the past several years, and I cannot wait to take them along for the next bold step in my journey. I try to make my solo shows as personal as possible, but this time, every song and every moment is personal, and I'm so proud of the work Mikael and I have done along with the rest of the band to bring something really exciting and unique to one of my all time favorite cities."

‘In a time where vast swaths of music are being created with just a few clicks on a keyboard, Age of Madness proudly raises a middle finger in defiance. Rather than rely on AI manufactured beats and Tik Tok notoriety, the band endeavors to remind the world of an almost forgotten era: one where instruments were actually played, where vocals were powerfully gifted in range, nuance, grit, and heart, where storytelling is grounded in real emotions, thoughts, memories, and poetry. AoM bridges time and space by being an homage to the raw and militaristic rock riffs of the 90s, the symphonic classical music from Beethoven to Zimmer, and the studied vocal precision of legendary giants across the musical spectrum. The sound they’ve created is an umbrella that is unabashedly theirs, each track pushing into genre territories that can’t be pinned down to a single influence, but instead a nod of admiration and respect to the greats of yesteryear.’

JEREMY JORDAN is a Broadway performer who is best known for Newsies (Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk nominations), Bonnie and Clyde (Theatre World Award), American Son, Little Shop of Horrors, West Side Story, Waitress and Rock of Ages. On television he has appeared as a series regular on Supergirl, Smash, and Disney's Tangled. His film credits include The Last 5 Years, Joyful Noise, American Son, Newsies. He will soon star as the tenacious record industry giant, Neil Bogart, in the upcoming feature film, Spinning Gold. Jeremy is also a singer-songwriter whose concerts and cabaret shows have won awards and acclaim worldwide.

MIKAEL In 1998, a 13- year -old Mikael picked up a guitar for the first time. He spent six weeks learning how to a play a very simple rendition of Celion Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”, hoping to impress a certain girl enough to become his date for the upcoming school dance. Finally, having gathered the necessary courage , he approached her during a lunch picnic, sat down next to her, and confidently strummed the 3 chord progression with optimism and pride. She laughed. (At him, directly, right in his face, like, the kind where she was pointing at him while hyperventilating from sheer mirth) He cried. (Hysterical sobbing, snots everywhere) Two decades later, Age of Madness was born.
